Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa von Nettesheim's Three Books of Occult Philosophy are nothing less than the foundation on which western occult, hermetic and esoteric traditions are based. This compendious work treats ALL areas of occult doctrine. Book One treats of Natural Magic, Book Two of Celestial Magic and Book Three of Ceremonial Magic. No occult or esoteric library should be without a copy of this work. Widely regarded as the most important book in the history of western occultism and hermeticism. This edition comes with Book Four, which, although possibly spurious, is nevertheless an important book ascribed to Agrippa and dealing with magical ceremonies.
The book is printed on 24lb. parchment paper and bound with metal chicago screws. It measures approx. 8.5" x 11" and contains the original tables, engravings, sigils, signs, and portraits. It is printed using the original font with which books during this period were printed, complete with decorative initials. Decorative borders adorn the head of each double-columned page. Book One is 117 pages, Book Two is 112 pages, Book 3 is 159 pages, Book Four is 29 pages.
