One of the most famous stories to come out of the witch-craze was that of the so-called 'Witches of Loudun' and Urban Grandier. Offered here is the account of those events published by Alexandre Dumas in Volume 4, Part 2 of his 'Celebrated Crimes'. The original account dates from 1634.
